Research Showcase Recognizes Homeland Security Students' Work

The EKU Homeland Security program hosted its second Annual Research Showcase at the EKU College of Justice and Safety on December 3. Undergraduate students shared their work with posters and oral presentations.domestic-terrorist-homeland-security-degree

Homeland Security Technology student Renee Goulux won for her poster presentation, "FirstDefender RMX Handheld Identification System and Applications in Homeland Security.” Critical Problem Analysis student Matthew Waters won for his oral presentation, "Domestic Terrorist Analysis."

Judges from the Order of the Sword and Shield, the national honor society for Homeland Security selected the winners, and each received scholarship awards from a fund endowed in honor of retired professor Dr. Norman Spain. Read more.
